Professionally shooting since 2010, Indianapolis raised — but don't let that fool you, I am down to adventure. Travel is my love language, and somehow I've convinced people to let me photograph their weddings all over the world because of it. Iceland, Japan, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Cancun — and I've lost count of how many national parks I've wandered through for elopements at this point.
Wedding photography, for me, has always been about the story underneath the story. Not the perfectly posed portrait — the moment right before it. The nervous squeeze of a hand. The look that says everything without saying anything. I pull a lot of inspiration from vintage romance and European art, which sounds very fancy but really just means I want your photos to feel like they were pulled from a film you'd watch on a rainy Sunday and think about for weeks.
Intimate weddings and elopements are where my heart lives. Less production, more realness — and almost always where I see couples at their most genuinely, beautifully themselves.
