Destination Weddings

Travel is a passion of mine and I am so grateful this job allows me the opportunity to work around the world.

I have had the opportunity to photograph hundreds of weddings over the course of the last 11 years shooting professionally here in Indiana. My work as a destination wedding photographer has taken me around the world for photography in places such as Iceland, Japan, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Glacier National Park, Yosemite, Rocky Mountains, Joshua Tree and more!

While focusing on weddings, I take a cinematic, film inspired lifestyle approach being most inspired by real life moments. With that in mind, I want to take just a moment to explain my approach and what to expect from me while shooting both your engagement and wedding. What to expect

Reach out! Let me know you’re feeling these vibes and looking to capture authentic emotion on your wedding day. Wedding photography is more than just a hobby for me, it’s a passion.

This is what I love and I love when my clients are excited about creating some art with me. Don’t be shy, let me know your expectations, questions and what I could do to create the perfect atmosphere on your wedding day.

I am greatly inspired by cinema, film photography and any and all things vintage. Ever since childhood, I wanted to feel completely submerged in another lifetime at any opportunity I could.

The Secret Garden, all things Jane Austen and most historical dramas play a big role in my work as it stands today. Don’t get me wrong, I love my modern day life with running water and cookie dough ice cream, but those old world vibes pull at my heart strings like little else.

The first thing you can expect from me when we begin photographing your wedding is just to loosen up and get comfortable taking some ultra casual shots of the two of you getting cozy. I believe in capturing emotion and moments that would have happened whether I was there or not.

There is gentle posing & guidance throughout, but my goal is to encourage natural engagement between the two of you. I am looking to capture 100% authentic moments and in turn create completely unique photos of each moment throughout your wedding day.

FEATURED INTERNATIONALLY IN PRINT AND ONLINE PUBLICATION

my biggest inspiration as an artist would be European art, literature and film

While focusing on weddings, I take a storytelling, cinematic approach being most inspired by the realness of love. I want to see YOU TWO, being you and being in love and not worrying about absolutely anything else.

This is why intimate weddings and elopements pull at my heart strings. It's usually in these environments that I see my couple's personality and intimate love for one another really shine.

Strip away traditional wedding customs for a moment and examine what we are here for you, you two. And that's where my focus lies. I'm here to capture how it really felt the day you started a new adventure.

My favorite movie is the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice, which I mention because my biggest inspiration as an artist would be European art, literature and film. The 90s Secret Garden movie was inspiring to me even as a child and still holds a place in my heart and in my artistic vision.
